To allow our owners and staff enjoy a very brief almost-summer vacation, Mikey’s Grill will be closed May 26th through May 30th. We will reopen on June 2nd @ 4:30 PM and we hope to see you then!
We were “treated” to dinner by Herb and Margie Robins last night in your restaurant. We had healthy appetites and were impressed by the menu selection & had great expectation because of the high prices for the entrees. Our waiter recommended & raved about the crab cake appetizer. After a lengthy wait, we were quite shocked to see one crab cake alone on a white plate drizzled with an unappetizing color of a sauce we couldn’t identify. This one frozen, thawed out crab cake cost $15.00! My wife & I split the stuffed halibut special. My wife’s portion was about 3 bites worth. Our hosts’ dinners were equally disappointing. Herb’s seafood pasta consisted of small canned shrimp. Although our server was friendly, service was slow despite there only being three other patrons in your restaurant the entire time we were there. Herb paid for our meals. Upon reflection of our experience, we ask that you reimburse him for this expense because your foo was substandard to the cost you charge. If not, we will not refer friends to eat in your restaurant.
